I thought they were pretty poor for world cup games, bit of a disappointment for such a highly anticipated first day.

Anyway, hopefully the English will show them how it's done :razz:

France = No chance, Hellstromm - England will beat them
Germany = Id like to say no chance even though they have a much weaker team but the always suprise so not one to leave out.
Argentina = too offensive, i recon theres a good chance they could be knocked out by an effective play that gets em off guard.
Spain = sure there no.1 but ill still think theyre over rated.
England = never have much chance, semi finals maybe?
Italy = nope. Where the hell are they supposed to be?

Also, I literally know NOTHING about soccer... Did the US team just get Beckam?

Damn it Mexico vs South Africa 1-1. Though I am not sure about that goal that was overturned...anyways I thought it was an alright game.

Normally I would root for America... But we've all got some pretty big tar balls here so... And England gave us our great big tar balls... Hmm... Well I'll get back to this when I find out who wins...

I would love to see Rooney take down the whole USA defense on his own.
I heard to have given the ref's a list of english "foul" language because Rooney keeps cursing like an old sailor :)

I know nothing except Brazil were the best a couple of years ago (don't know about now) and there's also only a few players I've heard of:

1. Harry Kewell
2. Tim Cahill
3. Mark Schwarzer
4. Lucas Neill
5. Christiano Ronaldo
6. The Brazilian Ronaldo
7. Ronaldinho
8. David Beckham
9. Wayne Rooney
Is that good?
