Yeah, I thought if I am townless, no one can duel me.
But, turns out if you have a bounty on you and even if you are townless you can be dueled.

Maybe that is why w1 is the world with most duelers versus fort fighters......... They keep farming hairbags.

its an easy solution. do not open your advent calendar early and you can stay townless and not be dueled. But if you open it early, then you are bountied by the game, and can be dueled by anyone. its been that way for years and some still act surprised.

Yes, but unless things have changed since my last Christmas in The West, he must've opened quite a lot of doors to get a bounty of $12k, maybe going for the Rod.

Maybe when townless player already has bounty (from calendar), you can put another bounty on him/her?

I'm pretty sure that's not possible. Even if it were, it would seem kind of unlikely for a townless player to do anything to attract a bounty, especially in the short time that has passed between now and the Advent calendar being given out this year.

Yes, that's how it always has been. The other thing(doubt it though) is that they may have joined a town, got bountied, and then left again.

Made a mistake and missed Fafer's post entirely and upon reading up now I understand :/
