In game events, you get punished/banned/etc for dueling people not in the event, so if you think Doge duelling players is ok, I wouldnt make this comparison
You're talking about the CTF event, this is not a CTF event. Each event comes with it's own specific rules because we need those rules in place to prevent abuse especially since we give player accounts GM features during the course of CTF. Without these feature we cannot successfully run the CTF event.
Another question about Dodge.. He was won and is on Colorado now.. So, why is he shown on other worlds in rankings too (experience and duel ranking)?
And so differently?
Doge was added to all worlds when the account was registered, he was only properly set up in world Colorado since this will be the first world he will be playing on. Dakota was just test purposes and Nisa has already sorted out the options on the account.
-------------------------------
This has already been explained to some extent - regarding the duel protection. Doge is set to not have duel protection active on the account since the winning bidder has only a limited time utilizing his skills. To incorporate some balance, from the next event we will be offering player awards to those who are able to successfully KO him.
-------------------------------
Just to give you some insight on targets we allow Doge to attack. Depending on the bid amount determines on how many successful bounties the winning bidder may receive within a 24 hour period. If a player has a bounty on their head, they can be repeatedly attacked to try and retrieve that bounty (Doge still follows the 1 hour cool down period between duels). Doge also has a limited amount of targets that do not have bounties on their heads he can duel within 24 hours to try and receive some extra cash - these players cannot be duelled more than once per 24 hours.

Another concern that was brought up in this thread is players complaining we are making the rich even more rich. I can understand that some feel this way but judging by the end rewards, it is not that much more than what they initially paid to win the NPC. Of course, we like to give a little extra to the winning bidder which we do since this is an event. But if someone is going to pay a couple of million dollars to participate in the event it is only fitting we make it worth their while.
In that same breath, we will be adjusting our rules so that our NPCs can be won by a larger variety of players during the bidding process. We will be restricting a player to only bid on one NPC per week as well as a winning bidder will forfeit the next week's bidding if he owned an NPC the previous week.
-------------------------------
Finally, please do not stray off topic. A number of posts in here are complaints about the new duelling system, premium accounts, buying skills and attribute etc... that have absolutely nothing to do with the event. Please make use of the appropriate threads on the forum to share your concerns regarding these features. Complaining in this thread about them will just be ignored and deleted. Thank you!
