Then we shall refer to that "weirdo" as the opposite gender.
It's his/her decision to be a boy or girl, on the Internet.

because Jordon gets mad when you refer to him as a she (I know a few female Jordons. you accidently refer to someone as the wrong gender they seem to get mad.)

the only thing is is that the west mods may not be able to do it because of the people who first created the forum layout

I really don't see why it's necessary. As far as adding an icon by the user's name goes, I don't think it would be possible in vBulletin without using a hack. For the rest, a mock-up isn't necessary because it would just require enabling the gender field in profiles.

Can't you just ask someone what they are if you're not sure? Seems easier than implementing an entire system.

Instead of showing someones gender I would prefer an IQ test can be given. Maybe that way we can get some of the more 'challenged' people off the forum.

I wouldn't.
Many ordinarily smart people completely lose their wits when confronted with a computer.
An IQ test would be inaccurate.

And I don't want to ask anyone their gender because well, I don't want to ask.
I know I didn't like it much when someone asked if I was a girl.
