It is very easy to code a random winner from an array of tickets (numbers) sold. Makes sense to have a winner every week.
I do not play lotto, but I think I know the basics ... and with a max of 15000 players in one world from which max 5000 can afford to buy a $1000 ticket, it cannot be like rl. In RL we have millions playing for 5 numbers and many times non get it ... imagine how many weeks will pass until someone hits 5 numbers. I guess 4 and 3 are winnable, but hey, why not reduce it to a max of 4 numbers from a set of 40. Where guessing 2 numbers will get your money back ($1000 win), 3 numbers guessed correctly gets you say 10-15% of the jackpot and 4 numbers gets it all - 23% VAT LOL :laugh:
sounds reasonable to me to have big winner, and small winners ... keeps people interested. Add some sort of fee to take money out of the game as well and avoid inflation lol.
