Seriously though, you just deemed people who name their towns according tho the setting of the game as unimaginative. You can't compare it to TW and try transferring the customs from there. It simply doesn't work like that. It's another type of game, and the potential roleplaying element is actually quite awesome compared to TW. Tribal Wars is a strategy game with cliques and internal humor already firmly placed among its users.
TL;DR: Some things just won't carry through to other games, particularily not one like this.
