The fort battle for the wealthiest - bring back game balance

DeletedUser

Think the thread has outlived it's usefulness. The fort system is here to stay and we will just have to adapt.

The main issue was 2 fold: the concept of essentially a fort lottery on the one hand and on the other hand the pretty much hated idea of depending on other honesty/integrity for the system to have a chance at working.

There is a very good chance your hard earned money will just poof in thin air because people will claim to bring money when in fact they don't.I wouldn't have been so much opposed to the idea if we had a way to control that.

Trust but verify.

Anyways i keep hearing some named weapons can be regular drops in jobs due to large amount of LP's increasing luck, that might be a nice alternative then!

Saltin it's true about item drops from jobs. You just need pretty much LP and some luck. But it's more fair than "bring the money and get the item easily" fort system.

"The fort battle for the wealthiest" (as translated!) is being called. Battle moderators write a scenario, who is attackig, who is defending, who is going to die (lay out cash) and who survives to take a prize. Which are legendary weapons, 3rd key(s), or other v.expensive items like golden buffalo etc. They have to calculate all money to be spent and lost from players during the battle and make sure value per survivor is set in a range 9000-10000. Once battle is over, prizes been hand out, next scenario is written where losers become winners and vice versa."

How can this ever be legal in a competitive game? Is this not match fixing? I personally think InnoGames has to answer this... No way... please stop this stuff!!

I hope not. Certainly, there are better ways to do it. Maybe with a next update?

OMG, don't tell me its hard to get those weapons now...

yess even i think the money based fort battles should not be used
as people wont let the persons with no money into the battle

The DEVS are making this game more and more unfair day-by-day

yep you need to trust everyone there - and you need to ko most of them

Lots of whiners on this thread, their reasoning came down to this:
1) They're low-level.
2) They don't have the cash.
3) They think they lose duels due to 'superior' weapon only in the past. "... and thus it logically follows if these weapons are found, we can never win! OH NOSSS"
4) They are jealous how others have the CHANCE to get the good weapons when all they can do, frankly, is visit the Gunsmith, and have to bear with the 'useless' Precise Buntline/Sharp Calvary Sabre :)
5) As I have said, whining is the best way to avoid one from facing their own shortcomings. As they level up and they have more money available they will probably change their mind and ask for invitations *wink*

So, when's the next arranged battle on W1 :)
I want to get Grant's Sabre - although Hernado's Reflex Bonus is certainly VERY nice..

Whiner? Looser? Thanks for those compliments.
1. I'm not low-level
2. I have thousands of cash
3. I don't think about winning or losing at all, I play for fun
4. Jealousy is a part of ppl who out of it HAVE TO GET pushfortfight items, that ain't me
5. Whining? I'd rather say spitting on the fixed fights and everyone that does that - pal, I'm all over it

Oh, you forgot the opposite of our point 6.

6. We just want a fair game without fixed matches. We're not sorry that german soccer judges got in prison for fixing the low league results nor we're sorry Juve got kicked in lower league for the same thing. And we're not sorry for ppl that got banned from online betting and poker sites for arranging the outcome.

Oh that you're an exceptional *wink*

Can you kindly suggest a reason why The West put the guns into this game in the first place, available through Fort Battles, but then we're not to find 'em this way.

Should I buy Premium, shift all my skillpoints for luck-jobs then hmm? Perhaps I can find it with another two years. Yeah.
I'll rather accept your views when you say we're drilling for Exp out of this - but concerning the fact people doing this are getting some maybe 600exp out of a battle, but working on Money-jobs for 3 days solid - I didn't, fortunately, for I sold all the items I got but it turns out the battle was only a test-run! - Treat this as gambling. The new promised feature, yeah.

About Point 6: As long as the devs aren't putting up notices I say we're all fine with this. I still remember the push duels when some random-folks can end up pretty high in the rank, a hundred levels higher than all the lot of us *highly exaggerated, note*, until the devs put the 'STOP' notice. And since either they're acting slow, no offence, or they actually find it okay, I prefer the latter. So go ahead. If you don't want these weapons, you can still win duels with Sharp Calvary Sabre/Hernado's Sword, or Precise Buntline. Enjoy your day when others lose hundreds of thousands for the drops. What's wrong with this??

1st Edit: I just noticed some players mentioned getting Allen's somethingorother Pepperdox Revolver from Grave Robber - 500+ LP, he mentioned - but I still insist Fort Battle Drop is the best way for non-blue or non-luck-based players to find these weapons >.<

Thepro you are the only one whining as of late,i don't see anyone else with offended tears in his eyes but you. Other people just come here in this forums and legitimately share their view.None here is attacking and trash talking to you or using the cheap ghetto name calling to make their point, instead we are discussing ideas and concept and exploring better ways unlike you.

See.. we can argue but we don't need to roll in the mud (not to mention worse).

You have nothing we are jealous of,certainly not of you brash forum manners. These forums are here for people to express their views you better get used to this or stay out if you find it difficult to handle opposite views.

More on topic: Just because we don't agree on something doesn't mean we aren't gonna play ball, we will get these weapons no matter what system they have or what is implemented, but that doesn't mean we wont *wink*wink* ask for a better way,or for different alternatives.

Something that that is suppose to be the epitome of the game, the absolute highest peak of achievement and excellence of TheWest: the legenday master weapons dropping on fixed/mok/fake battles, the "pretend we are fighting" casino fort battles. LOL no seriously, get real.

Just THIS forum, do I seem rude. Ridiculous thread, and complains. As I said they're sacrificing money and exp in order to carry out this battle - and many said they're getting nothing out of it - so while you can stand aside and laugh all you like, you don't have to poke your nose in and decide to stop anybody from doing so. In no way can push-fort battle be compared to push-duels - the reward can never be measured in the same way. They lose too much and too little to gain, that's their business. That's another way for Resistance-Duelers to get better weapons, you know. I found my Hernado's with 8 months time. And I am willing to sacrifice my now useless cash to at least have a chance to get a better weapon.

The Pro100...
I've stated a few times that I won't join any fort fight... But the only way to ruin Hoyzer* business is to join as much as possible fort fights. So I do go to fort fights now. With EMPTY POCKETS. And I leech, leech and leech. Hope you like it.

Another reason is that only few players remain alive and take items. They say that the next time the other people will stay alive. How is trust taken for sure and this is allowed?

And yes we have lots of money in our accounts, and can participate in those fights too, but we think this is not fair for the others.

They have the key 3 otherwise than in a battle of fort

(I'm a screen)

A player Russian found this key, but not by making battles! Put your points in the good place!
