no clue if its been brought up before and not looking threw all these pages to find out.

Whats every ones thoughts on bringing in (late in a battle) a final order that generals can give to off liners to send them to one spot.

Could make for some more interesting endings over the usual standing around finishing off the none moving offliners. either way just throwing it out

AGAINST! Some late battles actually get interesting to see if you can hide/cover better than the opposition can attack (work for those additional bonds and survival too). This would swing some battles as well such as the close battle with nothing but offliners remaining and an open path to the flag, but no online attacker to make the movement (seen that happen and as an attacker it really sucks to have two full towers while the defenders bailed from the fort or hide behind a building to just ride it out and keep their fort).

I think you should be able to build a house or a camp site near the city your from to keep items in and be able to sleep for free, making the hotel cost money but gain health and energy faster.

And maybe diff horse shoes for your horse to make them move across the map faster and adding an energy factor to the horses.

And saddle bags for the horses to store extra items.

Camp site idea : Being outside the city would you still be subject to dueling, random Indian raids, etc. since you were not under the protection of a hotel innkeeper?

Horse Shoes : Crafted Item, already exists.

Saddlebags : Were discussed a long long long time ago when there was talk of limiting an inventory and slowing down the movement of "collectors" whose possessions weighed more than their horse(s) could possibly ever carry (but there was a lot of squawking against limiting the inventory so this portion got dropped as well). But I could sure see a use for saddlebags, backpacks, banks or whatever to kind of hide away part of your inventory so you didn't have so much crap to look through to select the items you wanted or needed to use (high level characters will never use some of the low level clothing like rags, most ponchos, bows, most Indian necklaces, ragged shoes, torn pants, wool belts, etc. so any way to remove them from the active inventory without selling them would be great - - - The method I currently use to trim down my inventory is that I market an item on town market and when it doesn't sell, I just don't pick it up - but it's there if I ever need/want it and it only costs me 2% of my market auction price to store it forever).

New Idea - Raffle Tickets in the game

Adding Raffle Tickets into the game would allow active players to use their raffle tickets for special auctions/events that would be held in a world on a random basis.

How it would work is like this:

Each player would get a raffle ticket for specific event related items such as completing a quest line, a small random chance during each job based on the difficulty of the job (hard jobs give a small chance and the easiest jobs give a drastically small chance of getting a raffle ticket), small random chance during battles/duels as well as there are already sufficient awards in place there, a ticket when you achieved a leveling milestone or benchmark, etc.

Periodically, the world moderator (Inno) could put up a raffle item (it could even be a box) and anyone who wanted to try to get the box could use one or more of their raffle tickets toward the item. At the conclusion of the time for the raffle, a random chance would be (1/total_tickets) and the winner gets the raffled item.

This would spur some people into participating in the entire game more rather than just pigeon holing themselves into one facet of the game (quests, dueling, fort fighting, etc.).

It's a bit different from the bonds and UPB shop because with those you get to earn and burn those bonds, but with raffle tickets - a single ticket could win it all .... (in your best Dirty Harry voice ... "So do you feel luck? Well do ya, PUNK!?")

Players are able to excel in a lot of things already, e.g. Crafting, Pure Dueling, Pure Fort Fighting, by way of application of their skill points. Respeccing for a single job, when you consider how much that can cost, is a little tough to stomach sometimes. What if we had a college that we could go to that allowed us to "train" ourselves in a particular trade, making some of those insanely high level jobs easier to get to without having to completely respec? A player could go to class for a couple hours every day, over a few weeks or so, and get a degree in Engineering for example, which would then give him X extra labor points towards Building a Casino or Constructing a Mission and a pay raise for the lower level, but still related, jobs like Building a Bridge or Setting Up Telegraph Poles. Has this been pitched before? Thoughts?

It's kind of been made moot by the addition of "buying instructions" in the UP Bond Shop to raise the LP by +50 to +250 for 5 to 10 rounds. This allows many people to do jobs (for a short period of time) which they never dreamed they'd be able to do.

Billiard

I have this great idea, add Billiard table and an option to choose game setting mostly played is 9 balls. About the poker it would be fun and interesting if the in-game money is implemented soon

No one seems to play poker these days on the west. Everyone is too busy with dueling, questing, fort fighting etc.

new idea - special tab for annoucing fort battles and plans

everyday, in any good active alliance, the members get mass mails from the leaders, telling them about the current fort battles the alliance is taking part in. This is helpful to the active fort fighters, but is particularly annoying for the rest, the duelers, the questers and so on. For example, take a 300 member alliance on W2 - out of that, the most who ever joined a battle was 80. This means that the other 220 members get unnecessary mails which clutter up their in-boxes

So, here, i propose that the devs create a new tab, within telegrams. The first tab will be dedicated to personal messages, with the second one being "fort battle announcements". There can be a customized form, which can pop up as soon as a battle is called for the initiator/defender to list out the details

This feature can be adapted for multiple battles, with specially empowered leaders (say, the alliance founders) having the power to adjust the listed battles in order of importance. As fort battles are an integral part of the game now, this feature would be justfied and can improve game play for everyone

What do you guys think?

I know this will be set the cat amongst the pideons but... Could there be a limit on how many fort fights you could do per month.
Each world could have 10 battles per month. So if you finished your quota on world 10. You still have your 10 battles on the other worlds.(i'm assuming most people play multiple worlds).
This would generate more characters for the game on all worlds and would free up the forts for the people who don't get picked very often/at all. That will give them time to build experience in fort fighting and stop them from wasting there time running from one fort to another. It doesn't have to be 10 by the way.
I got to page 23 in the brainfarts and couldn't find a similar idea.
It would stop any one alliance from controlling all the forts and the people who love to fort fight still have other world to fight on.

I hesitated to hit the post button because i know its going to be deluged with knee-jerk reactions but please consider it.

Instead of making the pure fort fighters do only 10 battles a world a new fort fighting system should be created only for the young fighters and inexperienced fort fighters so they can improve their skills in fort fighting while the top fort fighters can continue fighting in the regular fort battles.

A training wing. Hmm, Interesting idea. You could have the old sweats giving up there knowledge to us on a dedicated thread. I'm sure that option is already available in the more established alliances. I know my alliance gives loads of fort fighting tips.

allow users to set the amount of sleep time

It would be nice if people could set the amount of sleep so that characters could wake up after the amount of sleep and do a job that has to be done during a specific server time frame. For example, if a job needed to be complete 6 hours from when the character went to sleep, the user could set the time to sleep say for 4.5 hours and when they awoke, they could start the job and finish it within the server time frame. Valuable real life time sleep could be retained. I apologize if this has been mentioned before.

For jobs

It Would be very cool and more intresting to put a small movie for every job one by one.. :) it would make game better... I know It's hard but maybe some players can give a hand.. :):indian:

Maybe a small movie for every quest like the one in the west trailer.

An idea for the .net servers.

Server time based quests.

For those of us in the Southern Hemisphere, there are a number of quests that require a specific server time for completion. This for me and no doubt many others means 2am ish log in to try and complete a quest. Reasons this is an issue. Work and Family commitments.

Solution:
Have 2 timestamps instead of 1. The original one, and 1 exactly 12 hours later. on .net servers
With V 2.0 - could this be done.

We should have a 'fulfilled quest' icon. Much like when you recieve a report, the quest icon flashes blue when you've completed a quest.

Oooh, I like that. it's a yes from me, and it wouldn't be too hard to program that in with the rest of the 2.0 changes.
