R☭D STEEL I The Great War Begins
The first ever campfire story game.
(Note: This is not a "Game" game as in something like Mafia or Survivor. This is a Campfire story game which flows along with what players decide. This is meant for storytelling and sides to win. Victory purely rests on the decisions and players/writers who sign up and what they do. The story will flow according to who writes what, and who does what.)
Red Steel is a new style RPG Story which takes place in 1997, featuring a timeline far different from our own. The timelines from OUR Earth and the Earth of Red Steel split in late 1979 where many different events split America and Russian relations even further. The timeline of events feature a great war which causes the downfall of Europe and Russia takes control of all of Europe (Except for the UK), Africa, Asia and Australia.
As the Soviet forces are taking over the Old world, The United States Annexes Mexico and Canada.
The Conflict between the US and the Soviets starts when the Soviet forces invade northern Canada and South America, which causes the US to retaliate by Closing the borders to the US and Mexico and Alaska, in order to protect the people, oil, and resources. When the Soviets fully control South America and Canada, they attack Mexico and Alaska.
The US withdraws as many troops as possible and they try to fit as many resources as possible on their trucks with them. The soldiers eventually make it back to the US where defeat is still not an option.
The Soviets move a majority of their troops into Canada and Mexico, which causes their previously occupied countries to start rebellions, but the Soviets are not at all worried because the US is their only dangerous enemy.
So now the final war starts, UNITED STATES vs SOVIET UNION, US vs SU.
To play the RPG, simply fill out the character form:

The highest rank you can play as is a General, who has no access to nuclear weapons.
Private: A front line soldier.(Max 100)
Sergeant: Commands and fights along side soldiers on the field.(Max 10)
Lieutenant: Commands Sergeants and Privates while on the field but safe. (Max 5)
Colonel: Commands all below ranks from a safe distance on/off the field.(Max 3)
General: Commands an entire side from off the field. (Max 1)
There will be 5 areas of the game where conflicts will be staged, or quite simply 5 places where battles are happening.
When it becomes clear who the victor is for each battlefield then I will state the winning Side and move on to the next battlefield.
Winning teams will be decided on quality of the story, drama, and of course, realism and kills, there may even be Votes for winning side. If a battle has been dragging on for a long time, then I will have to declare a "Withdraw" where American forces leave the area and Soviets are given a Victory for the battle.

The Sequel will depend on the total outcome of this story.

Bio: A lieutenant in the French Free Forces he is bent on France's Freedom hates red guts and although a good strategist is highly insubordinate. He also has a bad habit of looting wine cellars when he and his men find them.

Bio: Fought in the Island Wars and In the Modern Age war. A true veteran. He fights for the US and is being paid well. Leads a brigade in the American Army.

Bio: Originally a German, who was a kid when the Soviets took over Europe, his father was a lead designer at Heckler and Koch, who taught Rolf the skills to make good weapons. He designed something similar to the MP-7, called the MP-4, and was working on an XM-29 type design, called the MG-97 when war broke out. He carries a prototype MG-97, 2 MP-4s, and a Bowie knife.

BIO: Part of the Italian Army, he had to retreat after the fall of Italy. He arrived in America and decided to join forces with the U.S. He learned the fighting style Krav Maga while fighting in Israel. Expert in CQB(close quarter battle) and with a knife. Not great with a gun but good enough to kill a man with it.

Bio: At one time Europe was a client place for Fairfax in his home in Fairfax. Then the Russians came and bombed London killing his family, he hates the Russians and is known to be less than interested in taking prisoners. He came to the United States as the British military attache but soon found himself in command of an army.

He is often reckless and has a shoot 'em up attitude that makes him brave but stupid. He love sub machine guns and often carries multiple grenades and Molotov cocktails.

Bio: Joined the army to destroy the 'American Dogs' and to protect the Motherland.
He's calm and ready to do what's needed.
His father and grandfather both fought and died while in the Red Army.
He is great with a knife and carries his Makarov pistol. He is familiar with rifles and machine guns from both Russian and American troops.

Trained in infiltrating buildings, use of snipers, flying aircraft, medical treatment and sabotage. He's a man who loves killing people. It's what gave him a quick promotion to lt. He's brave, strict and expects his men to be the same.

bio: David was an American Born citizen who grew tired of the centeralization of Pop culture in America. His Russian born parents had immigrated to America seeking prosperity, but they only found the misery of being a low wealth family in near-poverty. David decided to return to the Soviet Motherland and he joined the Russian Army. He excelled at long range stealth operations and he was assigned as a marksman. After multiple sucesses with his squad he was hand picked by leader Mikhail Gorbachev himself to serve in the Speznaz. He was given a standard issue VSS Vintorez and he had it custom fitted with an American made scope and he had his name engraved into the side. He also traded his Markov in for a antique Russian Schofield, said to have been fired by one of the Czar's at one time. He was apart of a small elite Speznaz squad in northern canada just before the Northwestern Mountains battle, he had to halt a canadian uprising, he lost 2 squad members in the process. Then when Canada was under control, a uprising in Alaska started, he was assigned yet again to attempt to halt it. Then, the soviets won the northwestern mountains, he was finally re-assigned to go to the Southwestern desert to fight alongside a Platoon of soldiers as a Recon specialist. But his story is just starting... or not...
