#2) The Presideny of The United States of America is Commander in Chief of the entire armed forces
#3) A pistol? I would humbly submit Army Revolver A sword? I would humbly submit Cavalry Sabre as opposed to Conquistador's
I'm not saying I expect the president to actively serve, which supports the weapon having to be equipped, but history shows the American citizenry as electing several previous army officers (Washington, Grant, Roosevelt, Eisenhower, Kennedy). Maybe a president would want the weapon for notalgic purposes if nothing else.
