actually with tw you pretty much need a premium to play seriously and survive but with t-w you can get to 99 without paying a cent since you cant be killed off the world and can level nearly as fast as someone with premium if you are online enough (equally as fast if the premium user doesnt invest in the energy one).

Ah, I think I will not going to buy any...for both of them. In tribalwars I survived for 9 months without buying a Premium...except for the free Premium...hehehe, which I rarely use...I had been playing for 9 months in Worlds 6 to 23 except 19...and I survived!!!
Now, I am deleting my account...hehehehe...to focus on this game...

i tell you what im sure some of you might have played on travian at some point. buying gold on the west is nothing compaired to buying gold on travian. it keeps the game running so if you love playing the west and want to keep it going buy 20 gold from time to time im sure a few must agree, its a real good game and worth supporting

premium helps a lot though. Especially the class advantage + 150 energy combo. With both, an adventurer can practically stay townless without issue. You can sleep at level 4 hotel for free, gain 6 energy per hour (while expend 12 per hour for job = net 6 energy loss).
If your class is labor, you can level up faster with double bonus.
If your class is soldier, combine with tactic bonus, man, it's damn hard to hit them
If you're duelist....well.....I guess you can travel really fast and pray you can find enough victims with lots of cash around

for soldiers you get to use weapons even earlier, making the character premium useful every other 2 weeks. also, you get a ton of health, making it damn near impossible to knock you out if you have just some skills in health points.

No kidding, although I'm on my way to get my hernando's sword, I don't know if I can even KO some of those people with insane amount of HP, not to mention toughness and/or tactic & dodge.
