im not saying theres a law of physics, but the precedent set by the devs makes it clear that they want it not to be

Can we ignore the job titles? It doesnt matter what the jobs are called, as long as we get some jobs that are needed.

Let's get the jobs sorted and then we can move the job titles (or create new ones) to match the skills needed.

If you try to make every job match the random job title I have given it, we won't get anywhere near trying to make jobs fair.
I agree, stats first and names later.

I'm not an expert in skills in relation to 'advanced strategy', because I've so far opted for simple 'play, have fun & don't mind to much' strategies.

But could this be a basis? (Names of jobs 2, 4, 5, 8, 11 & 12 have been "borrowed" from Evil Monkey)

I can see that train of thought leading to either some very strange job titles or job titles that don't match their skill sets (like the Animal instinct for Poker thing).

As Gamecmdr said you must remove the Aim & Dodging, but once that's ficed it looks good to me.

This sounds like a reasonable idea.
To make the jobs more of a prize, though, why not base them off modern or fictional jobs?
Like say:
Hunting a Yeti,
Finding the Maltese Falcon,
Write a Novel,
Build a Robot,
stuff like that.

I know I'd go for building a robot, if it made me rich.

Depends on the type of Fiction. For example hunting a Yeti would be a bit absurd but searching for El Dorado or something like that could work. Also things like building a robot would be a bit weird...

EDIT: When was the last time you wrote an entire novel in two hours :p Perhaps Journalism would be more appropriate.

Weird, but not impossible (like a certain "80 foot Tarantula" :p)

How about Invention (Constructon, Repairing, Finemotor Skill, Tactics)
