ok then but they have computers you know but anyway i think that is the most likelyto be used as its between lots of people to stop multi accounters and it gives people a chance to get a good buying/selling price

some pasive in game activities should be installed, and people could earn mone yfrom that also. like casino was in KOL where you randomly took bets in a chance loosing or wining. that was so adictive. well in KOL the amount circulating wasnt counted, and if you were liek an old player you could bet like milions :) but here say 1000 bets would be good fun.

Inno games is a software company - in the history of the internet can you or anyone find another software company that prohibited discussion of updates from the customers ?

Sony Online Entertainment. They did it with Star Wars Galaxies. Look it up, sometime. It was a disaster.
It went down as the biggest mistake ever made by a software company.

Still, Galaxies is a good MMO. I played a free week. it may not be the greatest, but still a great MMO.

And their next game is going to be a disaster, they have already said that they want to copy JaGex but sell the virtual gold to players, as you can imagine nobody wants to play a game where you buy the way to the top.

I think you can write them off, and good online gaming companies?

That is an unrealistic request. There are thousands of players in each world, which would translate to thousands of trades each day, per world. Its insane to expect the mods or devs to remember all the different trades made, especially over the span of a few days.

My goodness! you mean that they don't have computers and are writing all this stuff down with feather quills!

With the exception of the above there is some really illuminating stuff being said here.

@Bowie - Sounds like someone is getting tired of being farmed by auxo !

Ok seriously - the real problem is the game doesn't foster a sense of community or player interaction.

This isn't Tribal Wars where people have to cooridinate attacks and defenses and lots of people get to be involved on different projects at the same time, and unfortunately it doesn't appear the developers have figured out this is a major flaw in The West.

People don't have a reason to mail each other in-game or post on the forums, and really develop relationships.

I find it difficult to believe the staff here can empathise with the average player when only one of them is even in a town (Tyr). The rest Tracey, Gem, Morthy all seem to be happy town less and doing Hunting Grizzly Bears for 78% XP.

If we'd been allowed to discuss the v1.14 job changes I would have brought the point up that the average player doesn't have 100+ setting traps have a plethora of high difficutly jobs to choose from ... and the average person gets stuck around L 30 doing the same jobs for 10+ levels and then they quit. Raising some of the high difficulty jobs double skill jobs didn't effect the one skill monkeys or slow down the leveling rate ... they needed to remove the double skill jobs to slow down the XP rate.

The game needs ALOT more quests so the average player won't be at such a huge disadvantage to the one skill monkeys when it comes to XP rate. The average player does all the quests and the average one skill monkey (which is not the average player) doesn't do quests cause um for the most part they can't ...

^^^Sadly we were prevented by the Community Manager from discussing the v1.14 job changes so nobody who makes decisions ever heard my view points which I think would have made the game better for the average player.

you kinda said what I was thinking at the bottom there,a lot of people seem yo be unhappy so is there anyway to give feed back an insight to the dev's? because all of us *****ing on the forums do they even read what we say? anyway lots of good points made hopefully the guys at the top do something about such problems
