Best Dueling Gear

What is the best dueling gear?

For a melee Fighter?

For a Gun Fighter?

I've heard these are the best for gun:
Brown Boots
Fancy coat
black bow/any Shawl
fancy leather hat

These are the clothes in my opinion:

For Melee Duelers:
Fancy felt hat or Fancy leather hat
Fancy dress coat
Fancy riding boots
Brown Shawl

For Firearm Duelers:
Fancy felt hat or Fancy leather hat
Fancy Coat
Brown Boots
Black Bow

I pretty much agree with shadow dragon.

Some of the items can be argued, but overall, it's good and sound advice.

add Golden Buffalo, it's +18 to duel skills in any situation (att/def, with fa/me, vs fa/me) and additional hp

It all depends on who you are dueling and your skill setup as well.

I would rather have a setup that gives me higher toughness than their vigor if possible or reflex than their shooting over the above setups

yeah and add the brown boots for defense when you're not duelling.

Best dueling clothes

Hey guys!

I've noticed that there's no such thread in the forums
on this topic, so i decided to make one myself...

here are the best dueling clothes for both melee and ranged

Melee (sword)

Fancy Leather Hat ($4100)
Fancy dress coat ($4500)
Brown Shawl ($4360)
Fancy Riding boots ($9500)

Ranged (Guns)

Fancy Felt hat ($3900)
Fancy Coat ($9500)
Blue Shawl ($3400)/Blue Tie ($1204)
Brown Boots ($5100)

The black bow is better for dueling I think.

+11 to shooting
+3 to appearance

Depends on what character class you are and what skills your oponent is TBH

sorry!
i'm a bitta new to the forum, so i went ahead and posted

but, 'best dueling clothes' are there for melee and ranged
the set of clothes for melee duelers, is defentely the best and almost
all of them on the server use this set

as for ranged, The Fancy coat is the best item, the Blue shawl gives +3
in Dexterity, which is important for duelers, the brown boots and the fancy felt
hat are meant for dueler use only, as all their skill points are in Shooting and reflex, etc

i agree with you...

once the forts come out, some new things will also be there, maybe a whole new
clothes line, even more powerful and costly than the normal one


if it was this case, then it would explain why the forts are taking so long to come out...
