At the beginning you cannot make any real mistakes.

one of the next quests is to pick Cane for 40 min. 40 Min is not one of my options. Does it become so after I level up or obtain enough labor points?
No -- and I don't recall such a quest, so maybe that's part of the new version. But you can do 40 minutes of work easily enough: just do 30 and 10.

Thank you guys. I was hoping it was that. I was just not interested in wasting energy and time if it was wrong :(.

Hi everybody,

I'm level 9 and would like to be an adventurer, the guide says :

If you are going to be a trapper your AP should go into Dexterity and your SP into Trapping. If you are going to be a trader your AP should go into Charisma and your SP into Trading.

But the first jobs who needs really the trapping skills are "river fishing", "beaver hunt" or "hunting wolf" (and some more of course) but they are really far away from my capacity...

So until now i've put my points where they could help me finishing the quests faster.

So should i really put all my points on trapping or trading?

Thank for helping me!

Its not usually a mistake to put a few points outside the main path if it opens up jobs that help you earn faster or level faster. Putting points into something that completes one not terribly useful quest or weak job can be a poorer choice, but its up to you to play it your way. Once the shaman comes along its relatively easy to unpick bad choices even if it costs you a bit of money. My trapper hopped around in the early days to get nice lower level jobs too.

I think that you should be able to change your skills for free every time you go up 10 levels ................. level 10 ........... level 20 ................ level 30 and so on!

Yer i suppose this game is suppose to be full of mystery and excitment not easiness and well dull!

Once you open up one of the big money earning jobs, reskilling isn't that hard - but its still very expensive if you want to do it quickly.

the shaman cost shud come down
I disagree. It all comes down to being patient and allocating you skills and attributes wisely. No matter how many LP short of doing a job you are at the moment you will eventually be able to do it. We tell beginners to be patient and eventually they will be able to do a job so I think we should follow our own advice.

There are practical limits to that in that the higher end jobs are designed so that you can't do more than a very few of them even with the best clothes, but I agree the shaman cost should not change. If it did people would just shift about any time they felt like it instead of having to have a very good reason.

What level are you supposed to get the Shaman quest? I am playing on three different worlds with three very different characters. Adventurer, Soldier, Worker and I am having trouble doing basic quests with soldier and adventurer because of point allocation. However, I can already do some nice jobs that give lots of exp and money and luck. It seems an ok trade off.

Oh, I was looking at the wrong place for the picture. I see it now. I had read about it but it didn't stay in me head. I don't want to change any of my points because I am experimenting myself no matter what it says in forums is a good way.

I'm taking a different course in every world I play. So far anything I choose to specialise in has its advantages, as does being a more rounded character able to do lots of jobs. If you only have time to do a couple of jobs a day then I can see why rushing to open up a fantastic money job or a fantastic xp job would make a big difference but if you can set lots of jobs every 24 hours it doesn't seem to make that huge a difference which way you choose to go, as long as you dont spread your points out so thoroughly you don't achieve any of them.
