What Towns Are Attacking -FoM- Horse Creek 1 and Dead Wolf Junction

I am a Merc in World 8 from the Town of Mountain Dell (located in Dell County, Far West Name doesn't show up yet)

Anyway I'm interested in Fighting in The Following Battles

-FoM- Horse Creek 1
Dead Wolf Junction

However I'm not sure who the attack towns are. I participated in the first Fort Battle of World 8 (-FoM- Crow Nest) Defending It While Dealing out 2,146 in Damage on 13 Hits while knocking out 2 opponents

Unfortunately Towns can't hire Mercs (hopefully in the future maybe?) but before I join each battle I'd like to know who I'd be fighting with if I become an attacker.

Mercenaries typically fight for financial reward. Somebody who just attacks anybody indiscriminately for their own personal joy is better described as a psychopath. On the upside, there's a lot of roleplaying potential in a clinically insane character if you're up for a challenge.

ha ha true, but Mercs will be paid in Experience and Found Items once the Devs Work out all the kinks. But I still plan on taking part in Fort Battles, For the Fun.

You could still be paid... There is no reason someone couldn't go to your town and make a deposit in the town treasury as payment to you for fighting for them. Before the forts, that was something with a limited use, because once your town was built you wouldn't need money anymore, but now that there are forts to start and fights to finance, there is a bit more use for the funds.

Though you probably wouldn't get any offers unless you were particularly valuable - or unless it was for hiring many fighters from the town... :dry:

Not that I want to sound mercenary or anything.... but I'm sure there is nothing in the rules to prevent this. Stay tuned! If there is, I'm sure we'll hear about it pretty quickly now. ;)
