you dont even ned taxes anymore - just get everyone to bank when you have a low level bank fees should do the trick...

To answer the original question (which possibly should've been in Questions & Guides) about how much should you tax if you choose to do it at all.
One town I was in had a weekly tax of $90, but most members deposited far more than that. Another one had a tiered setup, meaning that people in a certain level range payed a certain amount, then in a higher level range payed more and so on.

Clearly the easiest solution and it saves the town a nice chunk of change in building costs.
