US Military Bases Abroad

U.S., England, France, Australia, Canada, Australia, Belgium, Czechoslovakia, France, Greece, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway & Poland were all part of D-Day.

Get back to topic guys.

The US economy is strong, not like Germany's, but it's strong. If the US could stand through Vietnam, WWII, WWI & more, I believe they can stand through this.

The US placed the bases abroad knowingly of the fact their own economy could be at risk of collapsing.

Huh? They did?

You mean in the way that any country could/should generally know that a 1920's style depression could arise? Or you mean specifically that the US in the face of clear and present data of a collapsing economy went and placed bases all over the world?

If it's the former, why bring it up since that background knowledge is there for all nations at all times, and frankly almost always ignored? If it's the later, which base openings were they that the US opened in this fashion?
