No joke. Pattern was found on net. It is not very practical and is quite slippery on the wheel. Needed to paint inside to decrease slip, but it does keep wheel cooler in summer. And it is easy to spot my ice blue car with the red steering wheel cover. But I did draw the line at the knitted shifter cover.

This is some of my bead work. The bookmarks I make for charity sales. The beaded cuff is made with a wool/bamboo blend yarn and glass beads. The hardest part is stringing the 400+ beads onto the yarn first.
