Very true. I looked it up on Wikipedia, and the top three episodes from a newspaper poll were:

1. "Song for Europe" - The Eurosong episode. Funny, but no way I'd make it #1.
2. "Are You Right There, Father Ted?" - the Chinese episode...hilarious!
3. "Good Luck, Father Ted" and "Speed 3" (the milkman episode) tied

All three songs in A Song for Europe were good:

1. The awful, one-chord song that wins the competition.
2. Ted and Dougal's original idea, before they have to go to "Plan B"
3. Dick Byrne's annoyingly good song, which loses.

But I agree, not the absolute best of the show.
