It's topic for this week so here goes.
1. Do you think Hellstromm has taken his medication this week?hmy:
2. What do our American/European friends think about the British NHS?
A universal healthcare system that is free at the point of delivery. In fact, if you are a non-taxpayer, it's free full-stop!
If you have the cash you can go Private for your consultation and subsequent treatment (although the Doctor's generally an NHS doctor as well). I have a French friend who bemoans the system in France (Insurance based I believe), and I know that in the US that Obama is trying to get some of the millions with no healthcare something in place.
Medicaid/Medicare (whatever the Government plan is) is supposed to be much more efficient and cost-effective than private insurance as far as I know, so why is there an objection to expand it?
Anyway, before I rant about the US system, let's get back on the NHS.
Opinions people?......
