Can someone help me understand how the town works.
I know the buildings and all , but a question.. if the town sells items to anyone or even its members, does any of the cash go to the town treasury,
and also What use are all 4 of the charcter types in a town. thanks in advance.

You get 5% percent of the profits from each of the items your stores sell to outsiders. However, you do not receive any profit when a member of the town buys an item.

The four character types don't really have a very large use to a town. Adventurers are thought to earn a bit more money, workers get 5% added on to their total labor points for construction, and soldiers/duelists raise the stats in dueling and might make a good amount of money if they're lucky.

When shootouts are implemented, they'll have much bigger roles.

Actually.. Black Jack, it says about the money from hotel not going into the treasury so its sort of the same.

For one thing, a stay at a hotel is not an item. Secondly, you would not get any profit with the hotel from outsiders(and, of course, your own members).

The two topics, or rather, the questions from each member, are unrelated to each other. They can, however, be labeled as "Things you should know, but may or may not know already, since you never asked".
