There are moments throughout the passage of time when mankind has witnessed truly great accomplishments in history.
The Emancipation Proclamation in 1863, which freed 4 million men and women from the shackles of slavery in the South in the United States.
Astronaut Neil Armstrong walking on the moon in 1969.
The falling of the Berlin wall in 1989.
Each of those moments were historic and remarkable in their own right.
However, those were all moments when people could witness history, not make it.
Fortunately, today that all changes.
