I think it would be cool if you could travel roads and railroads between people cities. Cities owned by the founder and can be sold or they can make income from people buying things and using the towns services. transit such as roads and railways would be connected between cities by the owners of each towns concent and investment.

People could buy wagons, and horses, and travel around the country, but faster on roads and even faster on a railway. YOu could own trains and wagons and horses, to take things and people places from town to town for trade. Or just to explore and attack or travel to jobs, or whatever.

People could own job sites (such as the farms, and all the current job type sites out there), to allow them to make money from the items people make for them, rather then they make for themselves. If a job isnt owned by anyone, it is free to use by anyone. Once sold, you get payed more, but you dont get to keep the resources. The owner pays the workers automaticly based on the players skill at that job. work alocation slots are payed for in advance by the job site owner and that is the maximum slots available untill he logs in and invests more money to open more work slots for people.

Im sure Ill have more ideas later...

WHat do you all think so far on these concepts?

Another concept I just had.

People could also be able to have a masive market available which can be constructed in higher level cities with interconnecting roads or railways between other cities. The networked market would only be available between interconnected cities. So the more cities connect, the bigger the markets, and the Merging of large markets, ect... Concent for a connecting road or railway must be either voted on by the residence of both towns, or given by the town owners of both towns, based on the towns governing rule. In saying that, you could have town rebelions, that the residence could either help, or fight against with npc characteres of the rebelion pitching in...
