Fort Battles: How often?

I am interested in eventually becoming a fort offender or defender, but before I dedicate my character to that, I want to know, how often do fort battles occur? Like, if I choose to stay in a single fort, am I going to fight once a day? a week? a month? Is there a chance I may never fight at all? Thanks.

It all depends, but some alliances or towns can get you into a few battles per week or up to multiple to choose between daily. Of course, you may not even get a chance at all.

But if I play my cards right, then participating in 1-2 battles a week wouldn't be unreasonable? Okay. Thanks.

And also, just wondering, which would be better, Dueler, or Soldier?

Yeap yeap 18 hours from the time of this posting.

Small forts are harder to defend and since this is an unbuild fort the defenders have a tough job ahead of them.Of course they got a large alliance so a better chance to fill all spots.

I am not helping either side at this time,as i still want to have all of my shopping options open hehe.
