Easter is coming!
On Wednesday the 23rd of March at 10:00 AM our Easter Showdown event will start. It will end on the 14th of April 2016 at 10:00 AM.
As with the last years, the bandit gang is back and it's your job to drive them out of town! The bandits can be duelled every eight hours. You can also reset the cool-down timer using nuggets or eggs. If you lose a duel you will not lose any health points, so don't worry about being KO'ed by them!
Winning against the bandits grants you a chance to win several items, including our new event sets. You can also win an exclusive event set for winning duels in a row. Every win increases your streak by 1. You need 75 consecutive wins to get all the items. So be sure to have enough eggs in reserve to use a sneak shot should you lose a duel!
At the end of the event the player with the highest streak on each world will receive the unique "Tribal artifacts" weapons set.
Additionally we implemented a few changes in regards to last year's event:
Tactics vs. Appearance
We implemented a small change to the Easter event duels. Instead of being completely mirrored, the gang members now use the player's appearance value for tactics and no longer mirror the player's tactics value. This makes the old tactic of using high appearance but low tactics clothes obsolete. While this may seem as an increase in duel difficulty we also gave the bandits a higher handicap, which results in them getting a higher malus as before. So they do (and did) not mirror your dueling statistics 1:1.
Event currency sending cool-down reduced
The cool-down for sending event currency to friends has been reduced to 23 hours so that it's easier to send eggs to your friends every day.
"The Easter egg" (ID 850) quest is active again
The quest will now be active again each year from 24.03. to 11.04. For this quest Waupee requires you to equip the Easter bunny set. You will find these items in the shop for the duration of the quest. They cost 10 nuggets/bonds each.
After the feedback we received on beta we have applied a patch on Tuesday the 22nd of March fixing the following issues:
Adjusted difficulty for bandit duels
Due to the changes in the event the bandit duels became a bit too hard. We adjusted the difficulty to have players having to use the bribe function less often.
More eggs for 15 seconds jobs
15 second jobs now yield slightly more eggs. This is also the new default for all future events.
Event currency sending cool-down adjustments
Changed the cool-down for sending event currency to friends to 23 hours for all future events.
Bribing costs issue fixed
Fixed an issue with bribing ("Sneaky Shot") costing too many eggs. This feature now deducts 500 eggs, as intended.
Fort Battle Medals Graphic Adjusted
The Medals stuck slightly out of the boxes in the player inventory screen when equipped.
Increased the amount of eggs for Fort Battles
The amount of eggs players received for Fort Battles was slightly increased to make the earnings closer to other gameplay tasks.
Crow set now sellable
The Crow set from the Valentine's Day event is now sellable to traders which also allows players to see the sell price for market auctions.
