Dueling Problem...

I was just attacked and lost a duel, which only surprises me because I am a level 9 Greenhorn. Unless something has changed, I remember greenhorns are not able to be attacked. Am I wrong on this or what? I am a dueler on world 1 and I have never been able to attack greenhorns no matter the level. So how is it exactly that I got attacked as a level 9 Greenhorn by a level 11 dueler?

Because people abused and refused to pick, so now protection is removed.

Seems it would make more sense to take the protection away once they hit level 10 since that's the first time you can pick your class. Before that you are not even able to attack back.

Yes you can,you can duel any level, as long as you are in a town with a mortician.
