Can someone please inform what item is contained in an idol a tonic peddler can craft or what sort of items are contained if not always the same? Thanks

The "idol" contains a random collector's card. It's for an achievement. If and when you collect all 5 cards for that particular item, you'll receive $5000.
There are 12 different items, such as the idol, that are based on this collector's card concept.

Go to Achievements - Achievements - Items - Collector Cards - Ooh pretty collection
Items in those crafts will not go into inventory, but in your collector card, getting all 5 gives you $5000

Okay. Thank you for the information. Another whole aspect to the game now discovered.

You'll spend a lot more than $5,000 to gain that $5,000. It's an aspect of the game that has absolutely nothing to do with the main game and thus zero practical value. I believe it was added by someone already bored with the game.

Because it couldn't possibly be a fun little activity for those of us who like the teamwork, communication, and challenge of collecting things.
