Anyone can explain the logic behind ressources distribution?

Anyone can explain the logic behind the map interface and resources distribution.

Where is the town with the quest givers?
Why do resource spots are scattered all over the place?
Why isn't there some concentration of the farming related resources so you can imagine it's a farm?

Where is the town with the quest givers? No town, but in the middle of each grid (county)

Why do resource spots are scattered all over the place? Just like in real life

Why isn't there some concentration of the farming related resources so you can imagine it's a farm? It's also a game, not a real life sim

also to answer the 3rd question about farm resources... it is more realistic to have them scattered about... usually farms would rely on one main crop... but don't complain to much... if it were really realistic... then you would have to trade with Indians and have them teach you how to grow corn... in fact the main crop you would be growing would be tobacco... so think before you complain

Tobacco is not grown in the west, it's grown in the southeast.
