2023 Awesomia battle initiative

A new year, a new update, an old theme!

With the update to Fort Fight reward formulas a new round of Awesomia battles is being called!

Each battle will award a Can of Spinach to both sides.

I will start off fast by working all worlds in to have a battle on January 31.
This will be a continuation of (and end to) the "Round the clock" battles of mid 2022. Timeslots will be determined based on what off-hours battles each world was able to enjoy. The schedule will be posted shortly.

Then I will return to trying to call a prime-time (18:00-23:59) battle on one world per day rotating through the worlds and timeslots in order.

This round of battles offering up winter buffs is under way.

Arizona Briscoe and Colorado's battles have already occurred and Dakota's is happening now.
 
Battles completed on Houston Idaho Juarez and Kansas.

Las Vegas and Montana will get their "winter" battles after the valentines event.

I am pleased to once again be able to offer the following:

Due to the overwhelming numbers signed for Colorado's Awesomia battle, should you get left out of a GM Awesomia battle with the message that "... all places were already taken.":

Submit a support ticket and we can have you ranked in the next awarded GM Awesomia battle, guaranteeing you will not miss out on two battles in a row.

There are limitations, of course:
- We can only rank you on attack
- you will need to be signed in to the battle at LEAST 24h before it starts
- you still need to be at the fort at the time the battle starts
- it only applies to GM Awesomia battles and can only be exercised on the next GM Awesomia battle on the same world

The support ticket must include a screenshot of the report showing the time of the battle and the message "Unfortunately all places were already taken." We will save these tickets and when the next battle is scheduled, at ~24h to go the saved tickets will be reviewed. Anyone on the list who is signed in for attack at that time will be given a Private rank and thereby be ensured to get into the battle (provided they show up on time).

In this round of join restrictions I am working with a more simplistic approach.
Based on the previous battle I have calculated a target number of attackers/defenders that should create a roughly 1.2:1 ratio
When a side exceeds that number I will close registration for that side until the other side reaches parity and not it in the saloon topic.

If an attack wins I will increase the awesomia fort structures for the next battle (congratulations Colorado! your fort was upgraded after the last battle)

If Attacks continue to prevail regularly in a fully build fort I will reduce the target ratio.
