lol, I doubt that is a tear! Like the big hawaiian said in Forgetting Sarah Marshal, "Are those happy tissues or sad tissues?"

People continue to insist that our prop system isn't broken.

I continue to believe that those people are communists.

Yes a topic on political crap!!!

Communism is wrong. I've done research (Note: Yes I once supported Communism the IDEA) and I like to research on polotics, political parties, dictarorships, ect. Communism is wrong because, as humans are, we are greedy. We take everything we can. I now support Socialism (go ahead make fun of me Idc). Socialism works. They force killers and crime people to do hard labor, helping the country, instead of sentacing them to death (they might die during the labor if they arn't built for it or arn't conditioned for it). Lazy people are not payed and PUNISHED. People who work hard in a Socialist government are rewarded and given special bonuses. And hey, Socialism/Fascism kicked the Mafia's ass and they had to immagrate to the States. And we still haven't gotten rid of the Mafia.

youve never seen the working unemployed system at work have you? either way this is NOT a political thread

Actually, the purest form of communism can be found here in the US. Our military. It is communism at it's finest. Frankly, I am tired of all politics. I have yet to see a system that works for everyone.

Back to Washington: No he probably would not make the top ten list but he was a good commander and should be ranked above Stonewall Jackson.

How about Charlemagne?

DeletedUser

I agree with the guy above me. Now off the politicalness and back to warness!!!

I agree. Charlemagne is above both of them. How about Sherman and
Godfrey of Bouillon?

How about Macarthur
Philip (Alexander the Greats Father, who made it possible for Alexander to be Great by setting him up with an army, plans, logistics, and a senior officer system.)
Attila the Hun
Yamamoto
Tamerlane
and if you have Sherman then certainly you need Bradley
How about Joan of Arc?
There are so many it is hard to say who is/was the greatest.

In truth, Alexander the Great was the best. He died at a young age yes, but he conquered a LARGE portion of the known world at the time. All at the age of 20. Still a few myths about him, but he was a brilliant tactician and general. I wonder if we'd be speaking Greek if Alexander lived on.....

As I said before, he was only Great because of his father. When his father died he did not last very long at all. He is in my top ten but not #1. If anything SunTsu is the greatest because he literally wrote the book on how to be the greatest. And his book is spot on deadly accurate.

I storngly disagree on ranking Washington above Stonewall. Stonewall Jackson had a much finer understanding of warfare than Washington and even tought it at Virgina Military Institute before the Civil War broke out .
Im not saying Washington was bad mind you but he wasent better than Jackson .

lol the maginot line failed miserably when Germany attacked. I think it was the Schlefflen plan or something like that. France fell so fast it was pathetic.

And Washington could have taught classes too but the school wasn't even around yet. Also, the increase in technology between the two wars was an order of magnitude.
