Worldly Maximum
Figure 300 towns per map square
40 map squares.
That's around 12,000 towns possible.
30 max residents per town
= 360,000 resident maximum.
Factor in towns where their mayors go idle, and never raise the residency all the way to level 5.
Drop that number to 1/3rd
It's still 120,000 people.
Around how many people currently play the game.
And we've just gotten world 2.
If world 2 never gets as popular, and the game slowly absorbs more players that want to play on the main world,
We could reach the beginning of town critical capacitiy fairly soon. Then nobody will be able to found a new town, and new players will be forced to join existing towns.
Once that reaches maximum, well before all the residences are raised to maximum level
There will be tons of people playing the game without having a home town.
This means way more general store sales.
