I have two questions about working and motivation
1. I set to work on a job with 100% motivation for 2hours.DO I got the job done with motivation 100% for the whole 2hours?
2. Is there a difference in resulting motivation if I work 2 hours straight and working 4 times by 30 minutes . I mean if I work 2 hours the motivation drops to 94% ... but if I work 4x30min will it still be 94% or it will be bigger

1. Yes. But I presume that each 30 minutes your motivation with drop slightly.

2. If you work the whole 2 hours or 4 x 30 minutes the motivation drop will still be the same as removing 6 from it.

All in all if your motivation is that high when doing the job you won't probably see any difference in cash or XP received.

Well Elmyr knows too much around these parts but yes that will help even more.

More detailed response:
1. When you work a 2 hour shift, the job results are calculated using your end motivation, i.e. 94%.
2. If you work 4*30 minutes, your motivations will be 98.5%, 97.21%, 95.92% and 94.62%. The job reports will round these motivations to 99%, 97%, 96% and 95%, but in calculating the results, the unrounded motivations are used. (If you're a worker building, the motivations will be slightly higher).

So .. In favor of motivation it is better to work 4x30 instead of 1x2
Thanks for the info

Technically, but the benefit is miniscule. The 200 XP is just an arbitrary result before motivation is taken into account. Motivation numbers are based on -1.5% per 30 minutes worked + 10/48 motivation recovered every 30 minutes.

2 hours, 94% motivation, 200 XP * .94 = 188 XP

1st 30 minutes, 98.5% motivation, 50 XP * .985 = 49
2nd 30 minutes, 97.21% motivation, 50 XP * .9721 = 48 (49 rounded nearest)
3rd 30 minutes, 95.92% motivation, 50 XP * .9592 = 47 (48 rounded nearest)
4th 30 minutes, 94.63% motivation, 50 XP * .9463 = 47

So the total would be 191 rounded down or 193 rounded to the nearest. That's for a high result for a high XP job as well. The gain will be smaller for worse results. 30 minute jobs will probably tend to get closer to average XP than 2 hour jobs and luck will probably play a bigger role for 2 hour jobs, but it will all still average out.

Don't waste your time.
