Why no new year's quest?

Happy new year to everybody. Well my title says it anyway. Why is there no new year's quest? I'm not a us citizen so don't follow why there is 2 us based quests(thanksgiving and independence day (It don't bother me that there is)) but no new year's quest which is celebrated by the whole world. In fact I kind of expected to get the fireworks rocket this way. Perhaps fireworks rocket could also be gotten by a new year's quest. Just my thoughts

So far the holiday set items and holidays are
rotten eggs - easter
death scythe - halloween (originated in ireland or roman times (wikipedia)) - not celebrated in my country
thanksgiving boots - thanksgiving(us) - also not celebrated
snowman's hat - christmas day
christmas sled -Christmas day
necklace of endearment - valentine's day
fireworks rocket - independence day(us) - also not celebrated

Even the dev's need vacation.
They worked hard through Christmas to get the 1.30 up and running, and did most likely not have time to implement another quest.

Ok that is probably fair. Off topic(idea)I suggest they extend the current holiday set with 2 new item: New Year's Pants - New Year and a Worker's Belt - Worker day(universally celebrated). Perhaps bringing in more construction points in both +-30 so that more people can do the construct casino job or in the worker's belt anyway.

I don't know why there is no new year's quest..
I will say that the us only holidays are likely done because this game takes place in the us. I don't think halloween was celebrated back then, but it explains Independence day.

Perhaps a New Years quest will be implemented in the future just like some of the holidays before. Everything takes time and takes a lot of work, but just because I am saying there may be a New Years quest doesn't mean there will be we have a decent amount of Holiday quests as it is now.

Which is true but I am certain they are reaping the rewards more premium accounts , more users, less inactive players(?). And judging from the changes I am also certain that they read the forum quite a lot even incorporating minority views for example doing away to a extend with the all jobs build . Im not certain what the full holiday set offers( I have only 3 items) but am certain that it would be the easiest set to expand.
