Well it's a bit true, worlds are down because of applying a hotfix which means something went wrong before.
EDIT:
Found on .de, the hotfix solves the collection achievement bugs and laborpoints bug. Also it fixes not getting some (useless) market achievement. At least it should.
Maybe it solves more issues too, but who cares?

Community support, would probably post a message on the home page, and heaven forbid, maybe even in the forum, letting it's customers know why they are unable to log into a game they pay for.....
