And what exactly would be the point ? since stupid players buy stupid amount of upgrades it renders any adjustment such as you propose impossible... players like you and resist tank duelers/workers/soldiers would just sit on point and everyone can just go do something else for an hr.

Much better to cap any set at lvl 2 and then adjust the formula ... but ofc they wont do that because stupid players spend stupid amounts then wonder why FF is now like watching paint dry. :roll:

We the player base can do nothing, sadly the die was cast the moment inno decided to embark on this one way trip of power creep.. players demand every more ever stronger ever batter etc .... and ofc Inno have to deliver that or no one spends..

At some point it was always going to get ridiculous & i think we are about there, ho hum 16 years is a good innings for any online game so.

IMO everything needs to be nerfed and reworked, but ofc its too late to now. So many have spent and gone crazy upgrading etc .. nothing personal but many have gladly and shortsightedly bought into it too, its the same with raising the lvl Cap 100 lvls to 250 overnight was plain dumb but totally part of the business model for making more $ & foolishly a large % of the veteran player base welcomed it.. cos it suited them to get gifted 50 or so lvls for free..

Players have been encouraged to uber spend and uber build to simply catch up or keep up of course .. can choose your poison but there is no easy answer other than maybe to allow de grading everything with maybe a reset upgrade option and capping things to much lower maximum than they are now .... though i doubt much of the player base who support the game by spending so much would be very happy.

So you ask whats to be done ? just as V2 introduced an entirely new system a V3 is now needed to dismantle and rework the present & ever growing mess.

Or theres a rework of the entire fort formula, flat line the classes so they can all crit for eg .. base the formulas on AP not SP and generally spend some time figuring out an alternative solution.. something which im not paid to do or work on so wont think about it any further.

@Victor Kruger need to get back to the roots where skills actually mattered.

Right now this game is around 60% pockets, 30% grinding, 10% skills. It should be the other way around but we all know such model wouldn't be much profit now and it's a browser game after all.

The game isn't appealing in todays era where the tiktok attention span most teenagers have is minutes to seconds they would close the game before they finish tutorial
. Even if somehow every teen tried this game 99.9% would give up immediately. If we want to make this game great again like in the good old days it must be made more fancy and more fast paced like everything is now. More classes more buffs more of everything. In the old days progress was slow and hard but everyone liked the process now its just an eye addiction with zero depth and skill gaming

Isnt it Ironic the worker class, traditionally the most boring & pointless becomes the most versatile and over indulged class. May as well not bother with the other 3 more every year.. ... reminds me of the real Wild West and how it became tame and lame.. the stock market rose, cities grew along with prices and the once infamous Injun Warriors :indian: Outlaws, :cooln: Marshals :dastardly: and Frontier Trail blazers :boone: passed into myth and legend. :-(

What the west needs imo is a civil war or revolution.. :up:

I like the dueler class a lot for dueling purpose.
  • Easy to duel sitting at my own town. Can easily do 6 duels in an hour.
  • Easy to see the bonus skills/weapon of the oponent from the duel window.
In Fortbattles,
  • Ability to do crits in a fort battle. Crits are an emotion.
