In new worlds, what does "first to achieve.." do? Is it merely a notification or does it serve some other purpose?

I don't "exactly" know, but I think it has to do with more achievement points.

it's just for bragging rights, you get the same amount of achievement points if you complete it as the first player ever or if you do it 5 years after they did it.
and it's not only in new worlds, you can be the first to get an achievement in an old world too.

Barely 33 mins after the opening time. Usually it's towards the later hours of the mentioned time.

Only 356 accounts with lvl10+ after first 2 days... not sure if any other new world had a slower start??

There are FFs daily on forts level 0/1. Players are chosing sides based on balance rather than alliance when they can.

It's going fine in my world. If you did consider logging on I would recommend playing your game - but turn off chat. In my humble opinion, chat collar-raid-oh recruitment ranks as thee popular topic along with fort balance problems. Taking part in that chitchat will tend to ruin your enjoyment of the game with much to do about nothing depressing talk of dead worlds or beer teared laments of how things used to be .. many moons ago.
Other than that, I guess it rocks.
