When are job stats taken into account?

I am confused. I often read recommendations about switching gear after starting a job (for example to increase the luck rate). If the stats are taken into account at the start of the job, what is the point of switching? On the other hand, if the stats are taken into acount at the end, what is the point of selecting a particular gear at the start of the job? Or are there stats taken into account at the start of a job and others at the end?

the last is true.
when you start the job, this is when the labor points count. labor points determine how much money you get from the job, the value of the luck items, quantity of the products...
for example, you start 1h job with 1000 LPs, and this brings $500, 450% product drop rate, max value of item found $2000, 300xp.
but then you switch to gear that gives bonuses - luck, money, product, experience.... and after the job is finished, you get 6 products, $650 cash, 400xp - and find a hat that costs $1850 because luck bonus increases the chance to find an item, not the value! if you stayed in the same gear you had when you started the job, you would get what you have seen when you queued it.
