What movie was that?

i think it was a Tom Cruise movie. His comedic relief sidekick was about to get iced by some dudes that put a device on his neck, shoulder and arm that was supposed to make him shoot himself in the head. But Cruise sniped the guys before they could pull the trigger cord. It was in a boathouse i think. i can't remember any other movies the comedic relief guy was in either. He's like a chubby Aziz Ansari and also typically in comedy roles. Either his name or the movie name would be great though.

Ohhhhh i found the dude. Michael Pena. But it was a Mark Wahlberg movie, Shooter. i should go watch that again.
