Howdy folks!
First of all Merry Christmas and happy holiday season to you all!
From today, 25/12/2020, and until 07/01/2021 (EXTENDED TO 10th!), you have time to submit your entries for the two contests and have the chance to win awesome prizes including some part of the Creativity Sets and the consolation prize of the Perly Weapon Set!
You can join our two contests for this holiday season, focused on creativity and how you are spending this period of the year. We know it has been a challenging 2020, but we hope that thanks to The West you were able to distract a little bit from the crazy world outside.
That said, here are this year's contests!
You can participate in two different competitions:
Santa’s Gifts:
For this contest, you will need to take a photograph of a Christmas present you either received or gave away. The present must have a special meaning to it, embody the holiday spirit and showcase the joy of giving. It can be a nostalgic childhood gift that made a big difference to you personally or a gift that made a difference in the lives of people around you. In the image, you must include a slip of paper with your in-game name on it.

Fireside Stories
This will be a contest all about these stories. In about 250 - 500 words, write a story with the setting being the holiday season - events around Christmas and the new year. It can be a fictitious tale or a real-life experience, but the underlying theme has to be all about how the holiday spirit matters and how it plays a big role in shaping and affecting people’s lives.

Thank you for your patience. We needed some time to check all your entries, look at your images, and read your stories to came up with the winners.
First of all, I would like to thank you all for writing your stories and sharing your gifts. All the stories are full of hopes and joy, 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone but in all of your words there is a message of good faith in the future.
Even if you are not amongst the winners, it was a real delight for us to read your kind thoughts and we are grateful to you.
With that said, choices needed to be made, and in our decision we kept into consideration not only the content of the story/gift but also the form, the messages of the story and the message beneath the gift.
