As you will surely notice, this patch's notes are rather short. This is due to us currently focusing on server-side issues. We will remain on version 2.33 a bit longer and will introduce more changes with subsequent minor patch versions.
The Christmas Sale will start on the 16th of December 2015 and run until the 7th of January 2016. During the sale you will be able to purchase items from past events.
After receiving and evaluating the feedback from our beta worlds we decided to make some alterations to the original setup:
- In the store you will find a "Mega Christmas Bag" for each year which contains one random item from an event of that year. These bags are purchasable for nuggets and bonds.
- Please keep in mind that the 2015 mega-bag does not contain items from the 2015 Day of the Dead and Oktoberfest events. These will be made available at a later date.
- We also offer event chests which will contain one complete set from the respective event. These chests are purchasable for nuggets, bonds and dollars.
- Three individual items are available in the store at all times. These items are limited in time and quantity and a new item is made available once one runs out of time or stock. They are available for nuggets and bonds.
Auction the Dead!
All items from the Day of the Dead card-game are now auctionable. Visit you local market today and get your very own Xoloitucuintli!
Bonds limit raised!
For players to be able to buy the Christmas Sale chests for bonds we raised the bonds limit from 2000 to 3000. This new cap is permanent.
A sea of flowers!
We retroactively added the "A sea of flowers" achievement to all worlds who reached the achievement reward level in this years Day of the Dead event. This also included the new title "Guide of the dead".
Adjusted the start date of the "Crispy Cold" quest-line
As it was confusing for our players to have the base (2340) and repeatable questline (102340) start on different days the "Crispy Cold" quest-line was adjusted. The base quest-line will now also start on the 2nd of December, the same date as the repeatable version of the quest-line.
Polishing pistols
The "Precise Peacemaker" (833000) and " Precise army revolver" (829000) had wrong or blemished graphics. These have been corrected.
Fort Battle performance improvements and trouble-shooting
With the start of our "International Fort Battle Championship" we gathered a lot of data on our Fort Battles and we are currently using this to improve the performance of our Fort Battles, primarily in the field of server-load. Additionally, we have been fixing other issues that came to light during this event. We continue working on this to make sure the championship can run smoothly.
Server stability and performance
We identified and addressed several issues leading to recent cases of server instability and performance issues. We continue working on improvements in this area.
Known issue: The patch-log for this update is currently not available from within the game. This will be fixed with the next update.
