Just some more details on the item nerfing we experienced with the last updates.
These last two updates were specifically done so to prevent players from purchasing items at the lower old price and then selling it at a higher price once the update goes through. While it can be seen as a trivial problem, InnoGames decided against giving the opportunists the chance to make a quick buck.
As you will now notice, item stats, pricing and level requirements have changed on a large number of items. There are also 280 new items added to our worlds. While the old items were changed considerably, the new items were added to balance the change out. At this point, you now have the opportunity to use items throughout all levels from level 1 to level 120.
I can understand some players may be irritated with this change but these changes are needed if The West is to continue growing and being updated like it is. But all is not as bad as it seems, you may need to buy some new gear now but with the balancing that was done - it will only be beneficial to all players in the long run.
Some may also notice an error message appearing when trying to equip items - "You are currently wearing invalid items!". This error indicates you are now wearing items that are above your current player level after the update due to the level requirement nerfing. To get rid of the error message, you will need to unequip these items. Well, that's the only way you will be able to equip new items if you wish to change gear - but that's your choice of course.
