Script TW Collections

I thought about it, but it's not so simple ... The "missing items" are simply based on a function of cloth calc. In fact, the check box hides that colth calc show as not new items.
The research screen result is based on several pages that recall the serveur at each page or sorting demand (with the page, the sort, etc..), so I can not use the same system.

So I thought up another way to do that, but my brain goes on strike sometimes (it is really a true french brain ;) )

Ok, after a bitter negotiation with my brain, he decided to return at job (he gained ten minutes of sleep and one coffee / day more) ...Unfortunately, it is not possible to do that in the script, let me explain:

The search is done on the server that keeps the result, returns the first page and then waits for instructions. If the results is just one page, no problem, I can hide the "possessed items".
But if the search returns more than one page, if I hide the "possessed items" I can have ,for example, just one displayed item... but the following pages may also halve items to display.... So in short I can not ask the server to give me all the pages, and then display after I have filter them (well ... I could do that but Inno will launch some scuds on me ^ ^).

Sorry but this is an improvement only Inno could establish, for example with "useables" and "consumables" chexboxs then the selection would be made on the server and it returns the pages with only the missings items ....

So, I made a post in the "Ideas & Brainfarts" of FR forum (easier for me to explain it in french)

Is there a way this script can be made to show only duplicates that are not part of a set?

Well in fact, lot of people wants all duplicates, so it's possible but multiplies choice ...
and complicates a bit the function... Some would like all items but no consumable, another all but not set (that's you :p), someone just want consumable but not weareable (hem, no, that's idiot :D) ... and so ...So it's mainly a choice "how can I make a pretty tool bar in Inventory with all needed functions" ... I'll think about that...

Little update for adding 4 new filters in inventory:
- All: Displays all duplicate from inventory
- Current search: Displays duplicates from current research or current page
- Without set item: Don't display items set in duplicate
- Sellable : Displays only duplicate items salable
- Auctionable : Displays only duplicates items salable in auction

You can make the update with button at the settings page or directly from this link http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/159370

Hello all,

For those who finished the collections, for having the new items, simply empty the browser cache ;)

What can't you download do?

To install the script on Firefox, you should having Grease Monkey installed from here, and install the script from here.

For Chrome you must download the script from here, save it on your computer with a coherent name like 159370.user.js and drag & drop it in the extension panel (accessed with the Tools/Extensions menu).
If you have TamperMonkey installed on Chrome that's usually like GreaseMonkey.

Can i make a little suggestion?
Can you change the description of that "Go town" quick button to " Go To Town " or 'Hometown"
That Go Town sounds weird :)
Thanks

Very nice, but a couple of points:

The default install says it includes the En translation, but the Duplicates menu is still in French :)

The 'Show only items sets' popup would read better if amended to 'Show only set items' (& eight hour day supply could have (BBQ) appended)

'Item needed for collection in progress:' popup should be amended to: 'Items needed to complete collection:', or simply shortened to 'Collector's items needed:'. Either option would mean you could lose the following 'Missing: ' word

What does the update do in the settings? Does it update the script every <set time> or update the local storage (ie have acquired something but not yet synched with script/website)?

Which menu ? everything seems ok for me . Have you got the latest version (1.2.9.1 ) ?

Ok Ok I'm a poor translator, I see :p

Thanks, I'll try to correct there quickly, but I can't append the BBQ because the list contains the real name of the set automatically, taken of in the item description.

What does the update do in the settings? Does it update the script every <set time> or update the local storage (ie have acquired something but not yet synched with script/website)?

The updater checks the script's version (and files languages versions if you're not in FR/EN) every N times, and if you use the button it checks immediately. If the script was updated, a popup explains what's changed and you can accept/refuse the install.

Thanks again for the help ;)

I can't see a version number displayed anywhere (another addition needed? - plenty of space on the settings screen), but the auto-update button says I have the latest version already installed

The menu is from the green $ duplicates button in the Inventory window, giving the options 'All', 'Recherche courante', 'Sans items de sets', 'Vendables', 'Commercialisables'

Not a problem - a lot better than me translating to French :)

The updater checks the script's version
Thanks; I suspected as much but didn't want to test on a live system :) Perhaps say 'TW Collections script update' instead of simply 'TW Collections update' to make things clearer?

Again: great work! Makes things a lot easier, clearer and less reliant on the sometimes laggy UI :)

Oh, another thing: on the sidebar menu perhaps change 'Go to town' to 'Travel to town' to avoid confusion with simply opening the town screen; and would it be possible to add an 'Open Forum' item there to save opening your town's screen then going to the forum link from that (in a similar way to what you've done with the market)?

You can see the version in the TW script menu (the icon on the right like a piece of puzzle) / TW Collections

Ok, I've got it .... I can just say : Oooops

Ok, all noted.. I go back to work, thanks again ;)

De nada; glad you appreciated the comments :)

My mistake wrt the version number location (I'd overlooked the jigsaw icon, I use it so little); however I still think it would be useful to have the current (installed) version displayed on the 'update' screen, possibly with the update process doing a quick fetch and display 'Update to version xx.xx.xx y/n'

Many tks for the update! However you missed the popup in my suggestion earlier :)

No, it's because in France we only work 35 hours a week, we always keep a bit of work for the next week :D

Ok ok, I admit I forget ... I keep it for the next version with your suggestion for the update;)

DeletedUser35919

:))

I should have emphasised 'popup' (or 'tooltip' or 'mouseover' - which do you prefer?); the sidebar menu was fine as it was, but no matter..
