Travel Time

I'm at level 16, and I acquired a pony. Before it only took seconds to cross the map now seems to take forever same distance. I thought the pony was suppose to be 50% faster? Example, I was at a town, before to go fishing was only 15 seconds away, now it takes over 8 minutes with a horse and even longer without the horse.

When you first start the game, you have a massive speed bonus. After a while this disappears, leaving you with the speed of your horse.
