Town Rankings

Just was wondering other peoples opinions on town ranks, i remember when it seemed something worth chasing, trying hard to gain a fort, keep the town full, winning as many duels as possible, just to keep moving up the town rank ladder.

Now it seems the top 2 towns soon will be 2 man towns who just build the church ? Is that a good reflection on what makes a top town ? does it show the effort that can go into all aspects of this game, and what some other towns have achieved over a long period of time? :unsure:

Church building or having a lot of duelers in town can only get that many points. Currently it is system like this. Bloody path had a lot of dueling points while others(currently) have high lvl church. Fort fighting has small impact, almost none since only owning a fort adds to the town points and after losing a fort you lose those points.

Town ranking should be revised but until then it is what it is.

I think too much stock is put on town building. Who cares? Dueling points and FF points should be worth much more!
