By Email verification, I mean a process where the player receives an email, which verifies the email address is real, clicks on a link and enters a 6 digit code to open the account. This will reveal fake email addresses, duplicate email addresses, and bots.

I know what you mean but I'm almost certain that temporary emails can do that no problem. If you also have a paid version of having multiple temporary emails then you have tons of emails to play with.

Maybe add a once every month verification process. Once every month the game will send you an email to verify you're a real person. Temporary emails I believe dont have this kind of lifetime. Not 100% sure though.
 
Temporary email services do exist and can be used, but email verification in order to progress past a certain level would automatically make this script obsolete and the person behind this would be forced to create a new one. This might also put extra strain in their systems and slow them down considerably.

While a once per month verification would work wonders, it's also going to have a negative effect on the actual playerbase too. Personally it would be enough to make me stop playing and perhaps drive other people away too.

My friend scripts as of today can be written with AI very very very easily. Even someone that is completely clueless can go into ChatGPT and say I want to make X script that will stop clicking 15s jobs and will verify the email adress then it can continue.. etc etc, this is just an example.

I have seen scripts that can automate the entire beginning of you starting a new account. What I mean? The script creates the account the script then verify the email and it will do the tutorial by itself and continue until finishing Save the saloon p2. Of course you can modify it even further, theres almost no end to it and like I said with AI, right now and going forward, anything is possible...
