When im done working it only gives me money and every time I do a job it only gives me money and no EXP, so please tell me why I dont get EXP when I do jobs

Don't do 10 minute jobs.

I did shining shoes for 2 hours and stream fising for 2 hours and picking tabacco for 2 hours and none of them give me exp so i cant get to level 2
