"do nothing at all but log in and keep building on church..." That is being active. If someone is logging in and doing anything at all in the way of manipulating their character into an action of any type, that is being active. In fact, that is probably more activity than someone who only logs in to sign up for a fort battle, logging 24 hours later for the battle and then disappearing until the next battle., doing absolutely nothing in between battles to contribute to the world in any way.

Just a difference of opinion there, Nova.

Actually, @Reyne ...I'm in TOTAL agreement with you (I'm one of the ones building church in between ff's). That was my response to Clever Hans original post, wondering what they consider active...

I've done all the quests I care to do (for now)...I do not have patience, buffs or time to sit and do 15s jobs for 8-10 hours a day; however, building church 24/7 (minus the time for ff's) is the best/fastest way I know to continue leveling (especially now the cap is raised so high). I do consider myself an active player, though...but what is considered active in the original post to this thread?

minus of course 1 for the writer account who is collecting info that only players in worlds can see detail (unless is part of inno staff) as wouldnt define as "active" or "contributing" to game.


..... lol just to clarify for negative nancy's .. yeah agreed there is no way to define what is considered "active" or how many based on ranks alone.
Other things that clearly show is number of people in saloons, number of ff's, numbers IN ff's (excluding the inno awesomia or one player town digs), how often ff's, if there is market activity, if there are crafters around to craft, how long takes to get event currency/event gear.

Will do yet another suggestion to inno of pls look at having an "npc" crafter in some of smaller worlds by Angus npc maybe that people can access instead of running into issue of cant do any quests cause cant get certain types of crafts!! Regardless of interested in ff's or not, lets think of ways to make game do-able for those stuck in non active worlds !!!

Actually, the valentines/day of the dead events gives a somewhat better idea what minimum activity is(login, job and log out. )

yes but I doubt multies would bother doing valentines event. DOTD would be understandable.

Its the only metric I can see which is available to everyone that is active, without any mod powers.

This is actually a good idea. Sometimes it's difficult to find someone online due to different time zones when you need crafted items for quests, or when you need to have crafted items to improve your own craft level.

This is actually a good idea. Sometimes it's difficult to find someone online due to different time zones when you need crafted items for quests, or when you need to have crafted items to improve your own craft level.

Unfortunately, on a standing basis this is just not possible.

Substituted lvl 15 with lvl 40, because that's what's required for migrations.
There's not much difference anyway and it takes like a a couple of days to hit lvl 40 now...

I love all this data and charts etc, it can definitely be used by moderators to make adjustments to servers, based on FFs and stuff.
Did you do this all by hand? Or some kind of program/code? I'd really love to see sth like this on my region's servers.

So my question is very simple but none of the gm's is giving me a clear answer... '' You say that you try to make better the game day by day but you have a world (Kansas) with 30 max active players try to survive and ''enjoy'' (enjoy what? on a dead world? ) the game.. We have done everything from our part.. we spoke with you (gm's via chat) and we have analyzed the situation many times... we sent officially tickets, we sent oficially emails to the central inno's office's but nobody does anything to protect us and help us. Recendly you open migrations from two dead world why you didnt include Kansas on the migrations? or why you didnt close Kansas as well? What are you waitting for? the 30 players to become 15 in order to pay attention to what we are telling you for over 1 year? The game policy is the same for all kind of games. If you want to make the game better you have to pay attention on player's point of view as well otherwise the game has no future. Either you want it or not. G-i-v-e us the chance to enjoy the game again. Kansas and some other worlds are dead.. this is not gonna change at all either you close those worlds and allow us to move on a more active world helping the overall situation to become better or if you dont want to do it tell us to delet from now our characters and not wait for anything. Lastly, what is the point of the foroum? I see everyday great ideas from a variety of players and the gm's are not even reply or pay attention to those ideas in order to put some effort to make it happen...
