so looking at the fort battle at awesomia.. we filled way over the 140 limit in az.. attack,,, not sure how the defense is.. but i dont think there should be a limit of how many can join any side.. not sure if its like that already... but if not, would be greatly best to fix.. because alot of people wont be able to get in if filled

Ironic that how one daily 10 coin quest attracts so many people that no tombola event can..
But then those coin fellas want flag rushes and get it over with asap..

Where are the green card collections for this Event shown in Acheivements? I cant find it, shouldn't it be under 'Collector Cards"?

Why is there an announcement stating that the next NPC attack Awesomia battle in Houston is on 22/03 at 10.45 p.m.?

If you check under current fort battles in Houston there's an NPC attack battle scheduled for tomorrow at 1.05 p.m.

On Briscoe no NPC attack battle has been set yet, but i suppose it will be added after tonight's battle there....

i want to ask about a rumor a heard..... is regarding about overfill on one side sign up in this Awesomnia battles....

Rumor says: "if side gets like 180 signed for attack in battle that can only fill 140 in attack... all rest that signed up and didn't get into battle are to send ticket about it and they will also receive 75 coin chest"

True or false?!

If it would happen, we will check everything and if the player is entitled to have the coins because he was signed up, he was at the fort at the moment of the battle, but he didn't enter the battle pool, then yes, we will manually assign the coins.
The intention of these battles is to help the FB scene. If we start to see really unbalanced battles where one of the sides is half empty, we could decide to don't give the box to those who will be excluded. So please, fill the sides in order to have a proper balance.

@kuro90 would it be possible to increase the number of allowed defenders in these awesomia battles? - at present, regardless of what the defenders do, even if they fill, hold the most HP, the attackers wind up crushing them - as a result more people just wind up attacking. Maybe we could try out some new and interesting combinations, like 140 defenders versus 120 attackers or 130 defenders versus 130 attackers. In both, the total number of players stays the same, so no risk of crashing the server.

Additionally, would it be possible for someone to log in through the henry walker NPC account, set some battle topic and give ranks to alliance leaders on both sides, so that they can do ranking for the battle? - just doing this would dramatically improve the quality of the battles. It's not even necessary on most worlds - just on the most active ones like colorado and Idaho.

That's good to know.

But sadly Awesomia battles never give the best results with balance and Leads (if any1 ever be willing to bother with that mess), then people who aren't interested in Battles force others to take the Flag to end is as soon as possible. (That's how last 3 Awesomia ended in Idaho, and 2 of 4 in Colorado one of which was filled on both sides)

I was actually thinking about that, but for all Fort sizes. After seeing the Beta servers' numbers..

But those numbers would need to be different for different servers..
Say;
for Colorado, you would need to increase all sizes' defense numbers a bit and lower the difference between both sides,
for some others, you would only need to increase Small defense number etc etc

I wish we wouldnt need such thing to begin with but game has been favoring Attackers (along with Damagers) for some years now, and no Defender can hold Towers unless they have suicidal tendencies..

I could write many more things but I already had compiled all the related stuff in one thread already.

IF intention of this battles is to help FF scene and want some sort of balance in it and also assist in this unbalanced sign ups..... THAN, here are few words and suggestions for game improvement in this Event Awesomia Battles...
With all unbalance in this game, main one being attack side is for most winning one with same numbers as defending side as minimum, most of people will always sign up for attack

So if you really want to improve FB scene as first you would do something about that regarding sets you give us, but that is different topic...

It isnt us players that make this Event battles uneven...it's game mechanic that need improvement so it's prevented
For this event battles at least you can understand / do this:

1. We players until we sign up (chose side on sign up) we cant know how many are signed on any side... are we the first person to sign up for battle OR are we 200th person to sign up for that side in battle (no way to know unless people constantly spam saloon chat and tell others, beg them to sign for other side)...
And after we chose side we cant change it, even though we see that we are like 180th person that signed up for that side and bit later we are told that other side has like only 100 people signed.... NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT SWITCHING SIDES... we can just only hope and pray that some dont show up and we make the cut!
later on when battle starts and we see many of our side that singed up and those players not in battle, online players! and they all sad about it; wasted time on waiting by fort refilled hp, used buffs... waste of time and resources
...and than we see other side barely filled .... MAKE GAME AUTOMATICALLY MOVE ONES THAT OVERFILLED ONE SIDE TO OTHER SIDE

2. Let players see on sign up how many is signed for each side ...who cares in this battles what towns are in battle, we want to know the numbers! ... than its gamble for us if we chose overfilled side to sign up for (and later on move us to other side automatically if overfilled)

3. Disable completely for Awes battles and all regular battles function "ones that do not set target, in Attack are automatically set for flag" AND "ones that do not set target in defense, are automatically set for outside sector"


4th option is most restrict and it maybe kinda best.... remove option to sign for side ....I mean
All players sign up to a pool for battle. Players will randomly be placed on either side (to ensure balance in numbers and overfill).
Overfill, players that singes up and are at fort and didnt get to either side will get credit (coins in this case, or flowers or what ever) will get those

Very sad part about this battles is that we have no topic about it... where to start or where to set (attack and defense).
I dont say you guys have to do it now, but i plea you think how this can be done.... maybe if mods on engaging this battle set topic (and if you allow what i said under no2 and no4). Sadly too many off-liners end up rushing the flag and ruin game for most, ones that want battle

Just my crazy idea...

These are all great ideas Cro, I'm glad there are still fantasists in this community. Unlike myself - I've accepted that any positive changes to fort fighting are just fantasy :up:

I don't know the power limits of Mods and/or Community Managers but they certainly do have some power in their possession to do certain things, should there is a demand worthy of their effort (like, IFBC Training server) and/or if they wanna bother.

I honestly thought this was just a bad attempt at making a more player-friendly event than straight up gambling, rather than a classic cash grab. You proved me wrong in a most innovative way by letting people "buy-pass" the actual terrible grinding part of the event, which by the way was never actually possible to complete, we told you this as soon as it hit Beta. They needed additional artificial fort flag runs to make up the difference in the end (I refuse to refer to this round of Awesomia digs as "battles"). Even still, it all would have been meaningful to the player who completed the event and got the achievement, over 1 or 2 years, because they had to work for it, harder than anything else in the entire game. Now it's a joke and i'm so sorry for the people who were the target of this particular joke after all that effort.

An unannounced underhanded nugget sale for the event currency is as unfair to the people who grinded every day for those coins, as it is for the fort fighters who've had to put up with them setting for the flag to get back to their video game chores as fast as possible. I fully understand that communication with the players through the community managers is the weakest aspect of our decision maker's repertoire, but I think it is getting ridiculous.

Good luck with your awful new revenue stream tho I guess. At least it's not just literal gambling like the upcoming Easter Tombola. Jesus would be very upset if he knew about that. On an unrelated note, I usually go semi-inactive during tombolas, but now there's a Halloween tombola into an Xmas event into an valentines tombola, into St Patrick's event, into Easter Tombola, and possibly straight into an event after that, we'll see. In any case, there's seemingly no break in the events to have an opportunity to actually play the game anymore., which leaves me very disheartened and unmotivated to even log on and walk to battles.

I bloody hate always having to be negative about everything that happens and turning it into a moan about the general state of affairs in the game, but why does it always have to be a complete ****-show. Why's there no Quality Assurance or essential PvP development in a game that clearly still turns a profit or wouldn't still be running. I know I won't get any answers and am easily dismissed as a chronic moaner by someone who doesn't understand the issues, and we'll only slide deeper into anti-player practices like this and literally being okay with the main PvP element of your PvP game being broken for over a year, or that the playerbase is too tiny and spread out that on most worlds, that the game actually can't work properly, and all the while choosing to just try to mask all the game's issues by opening new worlds and cashing in on the 12 or so players who actually want that and spend big money on it before the last one has even hit its peak and ensuring that it never will. I really should just retire already from this disgustingly mismanaged Clown Fiesta Casino huh.
