With the new resistance cap, is there a point where too many points in resistance is useless?
I just noticed that I had a duel against someone in full duel gear, and at my highest resistance, and then against the same person in full fort battle gear, which is a good 41 reflex less and same toughness ironically. Also this player is a range dueler. The damage inflicted in both duels was essentially the same, with a max of 31-32 and a min of 23 on all shoulder shots.
I semi-retired before the resistance cap came in, so I'm not really clear on its effect yet.
EDIT: It could be that even without the extra 41 reflex, my resistance is still too high for his shooting and that means it's just using the 25% cap. Now that I think about it, this was a stupid question. What I just said is probably true and my resistance would still be needed against someone with higher shooting. Forget this question.
